INCA TRAIL - MACHUPICCHU

(4 Days / 3 Nights)

Day 01: CUSCO - PISCACUCHO “KM 82” - WAYLLABAMBA
Very early we gather from the Hotel in Cusco and private transport in the direction of the Sacred Valley until km 82. Via Chinchero, Ollantaytambo and Piscacucho, where our chefs and doormen will wait for the group to appear and to take all the equipment of camping. Beginning of the long walk, this first day is quite easy, during the first kilometers we will have a beautiful view of the sky “Veronica” and will walk to borders of the Vilcanota river until arriving at the archaeological group of “Patallacta”, where we will have lunch to replenish forces and then to continue until Wayllabamba, where we will have our first camping

Day 02: WAYLLABAMBA - PACAYMAYO
After a good breakfast we will initiate our highest long walk towards the point of the route, the day might be difficult, but we will slowly promote until a the highest step “Warmiwañusca " 4200 m.a.s.l. Happening through different ecological and to enjoy a panoramic View of mountains and snow-covered floors, with this wonderful view we will have lunch then to continue until arriving at the Second Place of Camping “Pacasmayo” and have dinner.

Day 03: PACAYMAYO – WIÑAYHUAYNA
After the early breakfast we will begin the long walk ascending the Second Passage of “Runku Racay” to 3900 m.a.s.l. With previous visit to the archaeological group of “Runkurakay”. From here we will see the way Inca conserved and paved with stones well in its totality, then to reinitiate the long walk in the direction of Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca, happening through a tunnel with an impressive architecture. Lunch and in the evening we will descend by a way extremely interesting plenty from own vegetation from eyebrow from forest until arriving at the archaeological group of Winaywayna
Visit and place of last day of camping.

Day 04: WIÑAYHUAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
After the early breakfast, we will initiate the long walk in the direction of Intipuncu “Door of the Sun”, where we will have a wonderful view of the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and Waynapicchu under first sun rays. After Intipuncu we will descend to Machupicchu and we will initiate the visit to the Historical Sanctuary of Machupicchu having observed the beautiful landscape and visiting the main ceremonial centers like: Temple of the Sun, Intiwanata” Astronomical observatory”, Temple of the Pachamama, main Seat, Temple of the three windows, temple of the Condor, Sacred Rock, etc. After visit we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes and free time until the hour to return by train to Cusco, the time of trip by train is of 4 hours, arrival to the city of Cusco.

WHAT TO TAKE:
