THE CITY OF THE CUSCO

The department of Cusco is located in the Southeastern region of Peru and has a 3,350 m.a.s.l. Its capital counts with the honorary titles of: Historical capital of Peru, Cultural Patrimony of the Archaeological Capital Humanity of America. Its climate varies according to the height, being considered an annual average temperature of 11°C. It has two noticeable seasons, one of rains that go from November to March; and another one, from April to October well-known as the dry station.
The older living City of America, the Incas called House and Home of Gods. Its name in quechua Qosqo, that means Navel of World, because they left from her a vast road network that united all South America, from the south of Colombia to the north of Argentina, including great part of Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and Peru.
The society Inca was admirable example of Political - Social organization. It had advanced knowledge of architecture, engineering, hydraulic medicine and agriculture, contributed to the World a series of foods.
