TREKKING - SALKANTAY- MACHUPICCHU: PROGRAM:

5 DAYS/4 NIGHTS

A new and good alternative of trekking, for before the adventure and those people who did not find a place for the Inca Trail - classic of Machupicchu. This alternative leads us to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu with landscapes between Lakeons, mountains like the skies of the Humantay and Salkantay, a route of our ancestors where we can appreciate a progression of the diverse ecological floors, crossing by mighty rivers, in the mountain range we visited Thermus-Natural Waters; entering the region of the eyebrow of forest of abundant tropical vegetation, appreciating flowers of different colors, birds like the Colibri and parrots of the humid forests.
The last day of trekking very early we will visit the Lost City of Incas - Machupicchu and that same day in the evening we return to Cusco.

ITINERARY:
DAY 01: CUSCO - MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA
Gathering of hotel (4: 30 a.m.), Beginning of our adventure, transports Cusco - Mollepata approximately Arriving at 9:00 a.m. Place of encounter with the carriers and cooks, after the breakfast we initiate the expedition in the direction of the camping of Soraypampa, impressive View of the great diversity of flora, fauna and of the one of the Sky of Umantay, it is a long walk of 6 hours approximately. Lunch, has dinner and camping in Soraypampa (3,400.m.a.s.l.)

DAY 02: SORAYPAMPA - COLPAPAMPA
After a consistent breakfast we initiate the long walk by a footpath of spectacular landscapes until arriving highest at the point of our long walk where we will cross a passage of 4600 m.a.s.l. Appreciating the mountain range of the Andes, the sky of Salkantay, after contemplating the beauty we will descend until arriving at the forest eyebrow and encamping. Our equipment of camping and foods will be transported by packhorses. Breakfast, lunch, have dinner and camping.

DAY 03: COLPAPAMPA - PLAYA
After the breakfast we will follow our long walk until “Lluscamayu” place where we will have lunch, Then in ours trekking we will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this tropical region until arriving at the “Beach” where we will camp.
Breakfast, lunch, have dinner and Camping.

DAY 04: PLAYA – AGUAS CALIENTES
After the breakfast we continue with our long walk until the town of Santa Teresa, during the passage we will have the opportunity to observe the distant spot the lost city of the Machupicchu Incas, then we will have a short long walk of one hour approximately in the direction of the basket crossing laughed Urubamba, then we will take a truck that will take us until Hydroelectric place of lunch and there we will wait for the train that will take us Population to the Aguas Calientes and spends the night. Breakfast, lunch, Lodging in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 05: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
After the breakfast we will take the bus for the City of Machupicchu “Sacred Place” guided visit by 2 hours and average, then you will have a free time by 3 hours so that you can visit the Waynapicchu. To Hours 14:00 Hrs. Return to Aguas Calientes, lunch (it does not include) and train of return Aguas Calientes - Cusco.
